Rhodes will always hold a special place in my heart, it was the last girls trip I went on before I got married in August 2023, and I thought it was the perfect place to destress with my bestie in the lead up to the big day. If you’re planning a girls trip to Rhodes, here are the 10 best things to do.

1.Lindos
The moment I arrived in Lindos, I felt like I had stepped straight into Santorini! The first thing that caught my eye were the white painted houses situated on the hilltop. Honestly, this view really did take my breath away especially as you drive into the village. Make sure you pack your swimming costume as Lindos offers not one but two gorgeous beaches, with the clearest water I’ve ever seen.
For those who enjoy a bit of shopping, Lindos won’t disappoint. The town is filled with beautiful souvenir and boutique shops, each one tucked away in the quaintest, narrow alleyways. Lindos truly offers the perfect mix of history and relaxation, making it a must visit destination when you’re in Rhodes.
2. Acropolis
For those who love to explore, be sure to check out the Acropolis of Rhodes. This ancient archaeological site dates back to the 10th century BC and has witnessed numerous battles throughout history. You can easily reach the Acropolis from the village of Lindos, with signs guiding you along the way. The walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes, so make sure to buy water along the route, as it can get extremely hot at the top on a summer day. Entry to the Acropolis costs £7.64.
3. Kallithea Springs
I can guarantee that the best €5 you’ll spend in Rhodes is the entry to Kallithea Springs! This ancient spring is renowned for its stunning architecture and picturesque bay. In the beautifully landscaped gardens, you’ll discover historic mosaics and elegant archways, making every corner phot worthy. If you’d rather relax by the beach, don’t miss the chance to swim in the crystal clear waters nearby.
Kallithea Springs is opened daily from 8am and tickets can be bought on day of entry.
4. Anthony Quinn Bay
Just a 15 minute drive from Kallithea Springs, you’ll find Anthony Quinn Bay, renowned as the best beach for snorkelling. For the most stunning views of the bay, I highly recommend having lunch or dinner at Kounna Beach & Resto Bar. If you’re a sunset lover, head to the Anthony Quinn Bay Viewpoint for truly breathtaking views.
This tour is perfect if you want to explore Lindos and enjoy snorkelling at Anthony Quinn Bay!
5. Old Town Rhodes
Old Town Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is rich in history and culture and should be high on your list of places to visit! Surrounded by medieval walls and fortress structures, it offers a unique glimpse into the past. Just outside the medieval city lies the new town of Rhodes, where you’ll find highlights like Mandraki Harbor and the New Market Hall.
One of the best, and most fun, ways to explore both Old Town and New Town is on a three wheeled electric scooter tour.
6. Symi Island and Saint Georges Bay
Symi Island truly feels like stepping into a real life postcard. I was blown away by the pastel coloured buildings, which made it feel like I was in a fairy tale. The island is only accessible by ferry or boat, which takes about 90 minutes; there’s also an option to stop and explore Saint George’s Bay along the way, which I highly recommend. Please note that there are no toilets at Saint George’s Bay, so make sure to use the restrooms on the boat before arriving. A full day is usually enough to explore both stops. If you’re visiting during the summer, be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen, as it can get very hot!
7. Elli Beach Club
No girls’ trip is complete without a beach club day, and Elli Beach Club in Rhodes Town is the perfect spot. It’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing beach clubs I’ve visited, with stylish decor and a lively atmosphere. You can easily spend the entire day here, soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful beach. For the adventurous, there’s even a 26-foot diving platform in the open sea, give it a try if you feel brave enough (I didn’t).
Beach bed prices start from €30 and I recommend booking them in advance.
8. Ronda Restaurant
Right next door to Elli Beach, you’ll find Ronda Restaurant, which quickly became my favourite spot for a girls’ dinner. With its beachfront view, it’s the perfect setting for a relaxed meal that transitions into a lively atmosphere once the sun sets. The menu features a delicious mix of seafood and Mediterranean dishes, and even has choices if you are a vegetarian or vegan.
I would recommend booking a table in advance has it does get quite busy, especially during peak season.
9. Dream Cream
You’ve probably seen this ice cream shop all over your Instagram and TikTok feed. Located in the heart of the island, Dream Cream is famous for its unique, colourful ice cream creations that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Whether you’re into classic flavours or something more adventurous, Dream Cream offers a variety of options that will satisfy every sweet tooth.
10. Faliraki
Faliraki is a must visit spot in Rhodes, offering the perfect blend of vibrant nightlife and a long stretch of beautiful sandy beach. Whether you’re looking to relax by the sea during the day or enjoy lively bars and clubs at night, Faliraki has something for everyone. It’s also home to one of the largest water parks in Greece, making it a great choice for anyone looking to cool off and have some fun during the hot summer months.
Water park tickets start from £24.49.
